Full description
An adventure on two wheels in the beautiful natural setting of Monte Argentario. This is our e-bike tour in Orbetello in a nutshell!
Climb into the saddle and follow an environmental guide through the streets of the historic centre and the dirt tracks that cross the lake landscape. Pedal after pedal, you will explore the main natural attractions of the area until you reach the Feniglia Nature Reserve.
A 4-hour experience, at the end of which you will cross a 20-km finish line.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Orbetello Scalo (GR). I am your nature guide and I will accompany you on this pedal-powered adventure!
We will climb into the saddle and set off along the cycle path overlooking the Laguna di Ponente, inhabited by cute pink flamingos. We will ride through the historic centre of Orbetello to the historic dam that joins the town to Monte Argentario; along the way we can admire the windmill that is the symbol of Orbetello.
We will cycle through the heart of the lagoon with views to the left of the Tombolo della Feniglia and to the right of the Tombolo della Giannella. We will then continue towards Porto Ercole, accessing the cycle path that leads to the Feniglia Dune. Then we will enter the Feniglia Nature Reserve, riding along a 6-km-long wooded straight stretch framed by maritime pines and other shrubs of the Mediterranean machine; with a bit of luck we may even spot fallow deer, which inhabit the pine forest.
Between Feniglia and Ansedonia we will stop for a break on the beach, before getting back on the saddle and saying goodbye to the pine forest. We return to the asphalt road, cross a bridge and take Via di Cameretta, which is situated in an enchanting lake landscape.
We will finally return to the meeting point, having covered 20 km on the flat. The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the meeting point.
The person riding the bike must be at least 12 years old and atleast 1.50 m tall.
A maximum weight of 80 kg per bike and a maximum of 18 kg per seat is required to participate in this experience.
Other information
The experience takes place from January to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 5 participants.
The excursion takes place subject to weather conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
Depending on the time of departure, theitinerary may be carried out in reverse in the order of the stages.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
