Would you like to discover the medieval charm of Perugia without the slightest effort, combining your passion for cycling with that for good chocolate?
Hop in the saddle for a 4-hour guided e-bike tour that touches the most iconic spots in the historic centre, including one of Italy's most beautiful squares.
Your destination? The famous Perugina Chocolate House. The ticket is already included: you'll explore the secrets of the factory and museum, then end on a sweet note with an exclusive tasting of the city's most iconic products!
What we will do
The appointment is at 9: 00 a. m. in the historic centre of Perugia (PG), where the guide will welcome us. After an initial briefing and the handover of our e-bikes, we will climb into the saddle to begin the excursion.
We will ride the first few kilometres through the city's back streets, stopping to admire Piazza IV Novembre, dominated by the majestic Palazzo dei Priori and the Cathedral, which houses the legendary wedding ring of the Virgin Mary. After an initial urban tour of about 20-30 minutes and a scenic descent, we will leave the chaos of the city and enter a greener and flatter area.
Following a pleasant cycle path surrounded by nature, we will reach the Perugina Chocolate House. Here we will leave our bikes for a guided tour of the factory and museum lasting about an hour and a half, discovering the history and production processes of this historic brand.
At the end of the factory tour, the sweetest moment awaits us: a chocolate tasting. We will also have time to browse in the official shop before getting back in the saddle. We will take the route back, enjoying a last assisted pedal ride to the heart of the city.
We will return around 13: 00 hours, after a total of about 10 km and 4 hours of hiking (including museum visit and tasting) .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an easy level and is intended for everyone, with a minimum height of 150 cm for riding size S e-bikes. Child seats or trolleys are available for children (see specifications under 'Other information') .
Bike riding skills are required to participate. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Other information
The tour is available from March to the end of November, every day except Sunday (museum closing day) , and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The ebike available will be a Bianchi model E-Omnia C Type electric pedal-assisted bicycle, with a Bosch Performance Line CX motor and a Bosch 500/625Wh battery, with a range of approximately 90 km. The bike is available in 3 sizes: S (from 150 cm to 170 cm), M (from 165 cm to 180 cm) and L (from 175 cm to 200 cm) .
On request, it can also be supplied
- trolley for 1 or 2 children, suitable for 2 children up to 18 months with a weight of less than 18 kg and a maximum recommended height of 110 cm, total weight of children + objects 40 kg, at a price of €15;
- dog trolley, priced at 10€;
- rear seat, capable of transporting children up to a weight of 22 kg, free of charge;
- trailer camcorder to attach to the adults' bike, up to a weight of 25 kg, at a price of 15€.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
