Amidst centuries-old olive groves, Medici aqueducts and historic villages, there is a Tuscany that few people know about: the Val Graziosa.
With this 3-hour e-bike tour, you can cycle between Pisa and Calci at your own pace, following anaudio guide that tells you the curiosities and secrets of each stage. From the suggestive Certosa di Calci to the hidden lakes, medieval towers and views of the Monti Pisani, every kilometre will be a small discovery!
What we will do
The appointment is around 9.30 a.m. in Pisa. On arrival, the staff will welcome you with a briefing and help you download theapp with audio guide directly onto your smartphone. You will be provided with everything you need: bike, helmet and phone holder.
You will then start cycling along the route of the ancient Medici aqueduct, following a scenic route. You will pass through historic villages such as Calci, the "town of a hundred mills", with stately villas and the majestic Certosa di Calci, one of the most important Carthusian monasteries in Italy and home to Europe's largest Natural History Museum.
You will continue through olive groves, vineyards and points of interest such as the Caprona Tower and the Campo Lakes, until you reach the suggestive Cavalieri Lake. If you wish, you can also stop for a tasting of wine, oil and typical local products.
The tour takes about 3-4 hours for a total of 30 km, but you will decide the pace and stops along the way. You will then return to Pisa at your starting point.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Aminimum height of 150 cm and cycling skills are required to ride e-bikes. For children are available at extra charge:
- Childseat: can carry 1 child up to 20 kg - extra charge of €7
- Trolley: can carry up to 2 children up to a maximum total weight of 45 kg - extra charge of €24

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
