Full description
Stone villages, tidy vineyards and open views. Ciociaria is one of those places that ask only one thing of you: slow down. .. but in the right way.
Riding an e-bike and accompanied by a guide, you will spend an entire day pedalling along quiet roads and small villages suspended in time.
And when the time comes to stop, you do it properly: with two glasses of local wine and cheese, savoured right there in the heart of the valley.
What we will do
The appointment is at 9 a. m. in Atina, in the province of Frosinone. After an initial briefing with the guide, we will get on our e-bikes and start an itinerary of about 60 km designed to discover Ciociaria and the Comino Valley away from traffic, on quiet roads surrounded by greenery.
We will pedal among historical crops and the valley's iconic products - from the cannellino bean to the black truffle, and the cheeses and wines that have been awarded PDO, PGI and Slow Food Presidium status. The route passes through some of the most picturesque villages in the area: Alvito, with its medieval castle dominating the valley; San Donato Val di Comino and Picinisco, overlooking open views that invite you to slow down.
Halfway through the tour, at lunchtime, there is an experiential stop in a wine cellar. Here you can participate in a guided wine tasting that includes 2 glasses of Cabernet, accompanied by Pecorino di Picinisco and local snacks.
After the break, we will set off again to complete the loop, continuing to cycle among vineyards, hills and views that tell of an area that is still genuine and little travelled.
Finally we will return to the starting point around 15: 00, for a total duration of about 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is at an easy level and open to everyone aged 18 and over.
The assisted pedalling with which the e-bikes are equipped makes the excursion suitable even for those who are not particularly well trained.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women.

The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions, preferences and the level of the group; the guide will assess the best route to guarantee the safety and quality of the experience.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
