Full description
Pedal along a scenic route to discover the jewels of the Cinque Terre: Corniglia, Vernazza, Volastra and Manarola.
Your guide will accompany you along an e-bike route from Corniglia to Manarola. You will pass through Vernazza and Volastra, pedalling between the rows of a vineyard 300 metres above sea level. Here you will stop to taste three glasses of local wines and discover many secrets about Ligurian terracing and vine cultivation. There will be more than just drinks, as you will accompany the excellent wine with crostini, focaccia and pesto.
After the food and wine break, you will climb back into the saddle to continue your ride to discover the Cinque Terre. The excursion has a total duration of 6 hours, stops included.
What we will do
We will meet at 9.30 a.m. at the Corniglia train station, where our e-bike guide will be waiting for us. Once we are in the saddle, we will begin our ride along the road that runs along the sea and connects Corniglia to Manarola, considered one of the most romantic villages of the Cinque Terre.
We will continue towards Vernazza, through ancient olive groves and characteristic Ligurian terraced cultivations. Arriving near Volastra, we will cycle between the rows of a beautiful vineyard 300 m above sea level and stop for a tasting of local wines.
We will sip our wines overlooking the sea and discover, thanks to the guide, a series of details on the cultivation of vines in these territories and the typical Ligurian terraces. The tasting includes three glasses of different wines accompanied by a small sampling of local products, including crostini and focaccia with basil pesto.
At the end of the tasting we will climb back into the saddle to complete our tour. In Manarola , we will admire the yellow, green, red and pink houses of the fishing village, built on a 70-metre-high rocky complex overlooking the sea.
We will make several stops to immortalise the most evocative spots along the way and take beautiful souvenir photos to take home. At the end of the excursion, we will return to Corniglia by train or by shuttle (included).
The total duration of the activity is 6 hours, with 15 km to be covered by e-bike.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is of medium difficulty and is suitable for 16 years and over.
It is not recommended for pregnant women and people with cardiovascular diseases.
Other information
The activity takes place daily from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
A hotel/accommodation shuttle service is available on request (extra cost not included, to be agreed with the organiser after booking confirmation).
