Full description

What does it feel like to be completely immersed in nature, in a bubble of peace and tranquillity?

Find out with this experience in Todi, in the province of Perugia, which will allow you to appreciate the beauty of the Umbrian countryside, spend 3 hours on a didactic farm and learn about the animals that live there.

You will also be able to take part in a fun 1-hour cookery workshop, followed by a tasting of the pasta prepared!

What we will do

We will meet at the meeting point in Pesciano, a hamlet of Todi (PG), where our guide will be waiting for us. He will welcome us and tell us about the history of the estate and the objective of protecting the biodiversity with which it was created.

Then, we will get to know the farm animals. We will meet Tina, aSardinian donkey, and a pair of Facciute Caprette della Valnerina, an endangered breed. We will get to know the little dogs Africa and India, trained to search for truffles, and the chickens, ducks and kittens that inhabit the estate.

We will interact with the animals for about 45 minutes, petting, cuddling and feeding them. In addition, the guide will show us the beautiful natural area that surrounds us, including the truffle farm and the orchard, which is home to various endangered plant species.

We will then listen to a 15-minute explanation about the ancient grains that are cultivated and ground. We will see with our own eyes the magic of a stone mill turning wheat into flour! Then we will don a chef's hat and apron and participate in a fun cooking workshop (included) lasting about 1 hour, during which we will cook two types of pasta.

Finally, we will conclude the experience with a tasting of the pasta we have prepared (included) and, if we wish, we can accompany it with a glass of good wine (not included)!

With the tasting, the experience will last about 3 hours in total.
