Do you want to experience the farm as a protagonist?
Just come to Lauria and entrust yourself to a guide, who will lead you through vegetable gardens, greenhouses, and animal pens, letting you discover all the secrets of an ethical farm immersed in the nature of Basilicata. And after stroking donkeys, ponies, sheep, rabbits and many other animals, you can participate in a sensory workshop.
Get ready for an authentic experience that will remind you of the beauty of simple things!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the time indicated on the calendar in Lauria (PZ) .
We will be welcomed by the guide, ready to let us experience life on the farm and to tell us curiosities and stories about the animals that live there, some of which have been rescued from difficult backgrounds.
We will begin with a visit to the vegetable gardens and greenhouses, where we will learn how some of the products of the earth destined for the kitchen are born and grown. Then we will discover what an ethical farm is by visiting the animal pens: hens of 13 different breeds, pigs, sheep, dogs, rabbits, geese, doves, peacocks and pheasants! Many of them are just waiting to be stroked and picked up and, if we wish, we will be able to do so.
We will meet Margherita and Maria Antonietta (a donkey and a pony) and the affectionate goats Valentina and Brunilde. We will have the chance to feed them while the guide explains how to look after each species.
Finally, we will greet our new friends and conclude the activity with a sensory workshop (included) , which will allow us to use touch and smell to come into contact with the raw materials produced on the farm.
The experience will last a total of 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.

The activity takes place all year round and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 persons.
Dogs are not allowed.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport . Free private parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
