Full description

Get ready to make some new, furry friends!

With this experience in the province of Cosenza, you can visit a farm and make friends with its inhabitants, taking care of them. In addition, you will have the chance to learn how to recognise herbs and participate in a fun workshop. And after so much 'work', an aperitif with homemade delicacies awaits you.

Finally, a selfie with a Tibetan goat is a must!

What we will do

The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Mulattiera, a hamlet in the municipality of Paola (CS) . Our guide will be waiting for us, who will welcome us and tell us the history of the place, linked to the passage of Richard the Lionheart.

We will begin the experience with a pleasant walk in the countryside, culminating with the passage along the Via degli aromi (Aroma Route) , a sensory route among nectariferous herbs, which will allow us to put our sense of smell to the test! We will pick some of them and, once we arrive at the farm, we will use them to create a small bag of aromatic salt, which we can then keep!

We will then walk through the farm animals' pens, stopping to get to know them, feed them, brush them and cuddle them a bit. These will include Tibetan goats, sheep, donkeys, chickens, geese and guinea fowls!

And after taking a few souvenir photos, we will participate in a workshop (varies depending on the season and availability) : we might milk the baby goats and make cheese with their milk or use the fresh eggs from the hens to cook some delicacies, for example.

Finally, we will conclude the experience with a rich aperitif (included) , based on typical products such as local cheeses combined with honey, crespelle, bruschetta with garden vegetables and home-made meatballs, all accompanied by a non-alcoholic cocktail or a glass of local wine.

The activity will last a total of 4 hours.
