Full description
The destination is a vineyard. The best bit is how you’ll get there.
Riding an electric Talaria Sting, you’ll follow an expert guide for 30–40 km along scenic roads, dirt tracks and single tracks through the woods, spending three hours exploring the Roero hills.
Then the rows of vines will come into view. And that’s when it’ll be time to park up, raise your glass and enjoy an aperitif in the vineyard with Roero wines, local cured meats and cheeses.
What we will do
We’ll meet at the meeting point in Monteu Roero (CN) at the time selected when booking. Our guide will be there to welcome us with a cup of coffee, before we get down to the most important part: getting to know the motorbikes we’ll be riding on our adventure.
We’ll take part in a briefing lasting around 30 minutes on how the Talaria Sting 4000 works – an electric motorbike with no gears or clutch. We’ll put on the helmets and protective gear provided by the organisers and have a practical session to familiarise ourselves with the bike in complete safety.
We’ll then be ready to set off! Following the guide, we’ll cover 30–40 km on a mix of tarmac and off-road terrain, alternating between scenic roads, dirt tracks and single track through the woods. We’ll ride through the Roero hills, passing through villages such as Monteu Roero and Montaldo Roero, with several photo stops along the way.
We’ll then reach San Giorgio, where we’ll park the motorbikes and stop at a vineyard surrounded by rows of vines. Here, we’ll be treated to an aperitif featuring Roero wines and a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, to be enjoyed whilst taking in the surrounding hills.
After the aperitif, we’ll get back on our Talaria motorbikes to tackle the final stretch of the route and return to the starting point. Including the briefing, the tour and the aperitif at the vineyard, the experience will last around 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone aged 14 and over who holds an AM or B driving licence. Minors must provide a consent form signed by a parent.
No previous motorbike riding experience is necessary: the Talaria Sting has no gears or clutch, and the initial briefing includes a practical session to familiarise yourself with the bike before setting off. During the tour, the guide will also adjust the pace to suit the participants’ ability.
The maximum weight limit is 120 kg.

The experience takes place from February to November and is confirmed once a minimum of two participants have been reached.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
