Full description
Spend half a day in the pursuit of sport, nature, and fun with ane-MTB excursion in Garfagnana to discover the most evocative views of the Parco Nazionale dell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano and the Apuan Alps.
Following a ring-route of about 30 km, you will cross ancient mule tracks, fascinating panoramic paths and fun dirt tracks, reaching some of the most beautiful villages in the area.
And if you feel untrained, no problem! When you get tired, you can activate the assisted pedalling and continue without any fatigue. You have no more excuses, join us!
What we will do
We will meet at 09:00 in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, in the province of Lucca. The guide will hand over the e-MTBs and provide us with all the instructions for using them, along with the rules of conduct for carrying out the activity safely.
The outing includes a ring-shaped itinerary of about 30 km and varying degrees of difficulty, through heterogeneous environments and different types of terrain. Starting from the historic town centre, we will cross medieval bridges and ride to the tower and the village's imposing defensive walls.
Then we will continue pedalling through the countryside, on dirt roads and woodland paths, where the more expert riders can enjoy single track descents, and then ride alongside the Serchio river along an evocative route that will take us back to our starting point.
There will be no lack of stops to take souvenir photos of the panorama or to recover energy with a drink. The activity will last about four hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to cyclists of all levels, aged 12 and up (with a minimum height of 135 cm).

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
The activity is bookable from March to October every Monday, Saturday and Sunday and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
For groups of at least 4 people, on request, it will be possible to organise the activity on days and/or times other than the standard ones.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
