Full description
4 hours on the bike, zero distractions and only roads worth riding.
This enduro motorbike tour is for you who want to get on the saddle and concentrate on what really matters: riding, discovering and enjoying the route. Flowing asphalt, white roads and medieval villages of the Valtiberina, between Tuscany and Umbria, appearing along the way.
We are ready. You?
What we will do
The appointment is at 9: 00 a. m. in Monterchi (AR), where we will meet the guide and start with an essential briefing: safety, group management and everything you need to enjoy the route without worries. Depending on the licence, we will be assigned the most suitable bike between Beta RR Enduro and Beta ALP.
We set off immediately, leaving the town behind. Monterchi is our launching point: art lovers may consider a short visit to the Madonna del Parto museum, then we climb into the saddle and start riding for real. Asphalt and white roads alternate, the greenery takes up space and the pace becomes right.
We head towards Anghiari, one of those villages that seem to have been made on purpose to be reached on two wheels. The curves follow one another fluidly, the panorama opens up over the Alta Valtiberina and the guide accompanies us along stretches chosen for the pleasure of riding and the landscape.
We continue in the direction of Citerna, the gateway to Umbria, and then climb to Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, perched and dominating the Tiber valley. Here the view repays every kilometre travelled. In between, small hamlets and minor roads that are difficult to discover on one's own.
Halfway along, we can stop at a viewpoint for refreshments or lunch (optional and extra) . On the way back, it will be possible to change and use the hot shower and bivouac area.
The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
