And where else could our ethical reptile discovery experience take place if not in the province of Rome! In the company of a Zooanthropologist and Technician in Ethology, you will meet the royal python, the bearded dragon and other specimens according to an ethical approach aimed at respect and animal welfare.
A 2-hour experience, enriched by a vegetarian aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia (RM) . We will be met by our guide, a zooanthropologist and technician in animal tourism ethology, who will accompany us on this adventure.
The experience takes place inside an animal shelter, inhabited by specimens rescued from distress situations. In particular, on this occasion we will meet the bearded dragon Diablo, the royal python Ciro, the African tortoise Bulba and the tortoise Francesco Totti.
After a theoretical introduction during which we will explore the characteristics of each specimen and the rules of behaviour for an ethical approach to animals, we will interact directly with the various species according to their wishes. An opportunity to overcome fears, satisfy curiosity and once again be surprised by the wonder of nature.
And to finish, we will be served a vegetarian aperitif consisting of pinsa romana, fritto misto and other delicacies accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. All this in a location that is as rustic as it is cosy, where animal welfare comes first!
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.

The experience is suitable for everyone, regardless of age. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The experience is suitable for people with disabilities and the facility is wheelchair accessible. The person with a disability pays the reduced rate of €15.00, while the companion of the person with a disability pays the full rate. Warning. Interaction with the animal is not guaranteed as it takes place in respect of and according to the will of the animal. Interaction with the animal will be alternated between participants.
The experience takes place all year round.
Leashed dogs of accompanying persons are permitted.
