An explosive adventure!
This is what awaits you when you join our quad bike tour in Nicolosi: accompanied by a guide, you’ll whizz through caves and volcanic craters at the foot of Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano.
An experience lasting over 2 hours, full of thrills and (past) eruptions!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Nicolosi (CT). Once there, we’ll meet the guide who’ll be accompanying us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered and the equipment has been handed out, we’ll climb aboard the quad bikes. The guide will explain how to ride the quad bike and provide all the information you need to ensure a worry-free experience. Finally, we’ll do a few test laps to get to grips with the quad bike.
And here we are, ready for our quad bike excursion: we’ll venture into the distinctive natural landscape of this volcanic region, along a route through woodland and lava fields, mainly on dirt tracks. We’ll be stopping at the famous Grotta d’Angela, which we’ll visit with the guide, and at a winery where we’ll be treated to a tasting of one glass of wine and some of the house olive oil.
Back on our quads, we’ll reach a vantage point overlooking Mount Etna and the sea. We’ll continue riding inside a volcanic cone until we reach the Grotta delle Palombe, which we’ll admire from the outside.
Finally, we’ll return to the meeting point. The experience lasts approximately two and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a Category B driving licence. Equivalent foreign driving licences are accepted.
Passengers must be at least 6 years old.
This is an easy-level experience and is suitable as a first quad bike excursion.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round.
Dogs are not permitted.
For every quad bike booked, you’ll receive 10 complimentary laps on the track ( located at the meeting point) , to be used within 30 days (excluding the day of the booked tour) .
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
