Discover the charms of Syracuse with aone-hour evening boat excursion. Skirt theisland of Ortigia and admire its natural and architectural beauty while being guided by the local skipper.
Spend a pleasant evening enjoying the cool sea breeze and admiring the Cathedral, Maniace Castle and Vigliena Fortress from a unique perspective. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at the Foro Vittorio Emanuele II embarkation point in Syracuse. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by the skipper and , once we are all on board, we will set off on our tour.
We will sail along theisland of Ortigia, considered one of the pearls of the Mediterranean. In this small strip of land, only one square kilometre in size and connected to the mainland by two bridges, lies the oldest part of the city of Syracuse.
From the boat we will be able to admire the lights of the city and distinguish the majestic profile of the Maniace Castle, considered one of the best preserved examples of architecture from the Swabian period, and the cathedral that dominates the upper part of the island.
The skipper will also show us the Church of Santa Lucia alla Badia, the Venetian Palace and the Spanish Walls, telling us many interesting facts about these places.
The excursion will last a total of one hour.
