Full description
Discover Sicily in its nocturnal guise with our jeep tour that takes you through the village of Pollina, the village of Castelbuono, and other incredibly scenic off-road trails.
You will be able to spot nocturnal animals, move through a valley surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, have an aperitif at sunset, and dine in a local trattoria enjoying local specialities.
This excursion will introduce you to the island's hinterland, its villages nestled in the mountains, conveying emotions impossible to forget. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is at 17:30 in Cefalù. Here we will be welcomed by an expert guide who will lead us to discover the Sicilian hinterland and its enchanting villages.
The first stop we will make is in the beautiful village of Pollina, where we will be able to admire the pink stone theatre, an open-air site from which we can see the Madonie, a mountainous ridge located in the northern part of the island. Our arrival here will coincide with sunset. We will then make a stop to enjoy an aperitif.
Immediately afterwards we will ride through the village of Castelbuono, characterised by small streets, and have dinner in a local trattoria.
The remainder of the trip will be off-road, in the direction of the famous brigands' bridge, located in the valley of the Tiberio gorges, an area where brigands once lurked to collect the passage tax from merchants' carriages. We will also move through a valley of centuries-old olive trees and spot nocturnal animals.
The last stop on the tour will be the ancient mill villages of San Mauro, microscopic hamlets built in the mountains.
The way back will be along a scenic coastal path. The excursion lasts a total of four hours.

The activity is for everyone over the age of 2. However, the tour is not recommended for pregnant women.

The tour can be booked all year round, weather permitting.
Pick-up at hotels or accommodation is free in Cefalù only. If you are staying in one of the neighbouring towns, please contact the guide to arrange pick-up at an extra cost or get advice on how to reach the meeting point in time for the activity. Please note: from May to October the pick-up service is not available.
The jeeps are equipped with a mini-bar and first aid kit.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
