This experience gives you the chance to experience the unforgettable thrill of a glacier walk above the Mont Blanc Skyway at an altitude of 3, 400 metres!
Get ready for beautiful scenery and the peace and quiet of nature that will surround you, and come and try an activity that offers adventure and unique sensations!
What we will do
The meeting point is in Courmayeur (AO), at the Skyway Mont Blanc cable car. Here you will meet the mountain guide who will accompany you on this extraordinary adventure.
After a short briefing and the handover of the necessary equipment, you will ascend by cable car (not included) to Punta Helbronner and reach an altitude of 3, 400 metres in about 30 minutes. Once at the top, you will put on your crampon boots (not included) and experience the magnificent feeling of walking on a glacier.
You will move safely between the crevasses, heading towards Col Flambeau and stopping occasionally to rest, listen to the guide's explanations and admire the landscape. In front of you, the magnificent view of Mont Blanc and the Dente del Gigante peak will stand out. Immerse yourself in such scenery and you will be thrilled!
After about 2 hours of glacier exploration, you will take the cable car back to your starting point in about 30 minutes. The total duration of the experience is about 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 6. Children under 18 can only participate if accompanied by an adult.
Other information
The activity is available all year round.
The cable car ticket to reach the activity venue is not included: it costs approximately €65 per person and must be purchased on site.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport , and free and paid parking spaces are available on site.
The harness will be provided by the guide but you must bring your own climbing boots. If you do not have them, they can be hired on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
