Full description
A tasting like this you have never had before. Enjoy aromantic and exclusive experience inside a renovated barrel, overlooking the park and the historic Villa Locatelli of Tenuta di Angoris.
We are located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, a wine-growing area of great prestige, where you can enjoy refined and seductive wines. Take part in a guided tour of the estate and its cellar, followed by a tasting of three wines and typical local products .
If there is good wine in the small barrel, there is room in the big one to experience anhour and a half of pure poetry!
What we will do
The appointment is at the Tenuta di Angoris in Cormons (GO), 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
You will be welcomed by Daniel, the Tenuta's guide , who will take you on a guided tour of the winery and the 18th-century Villa Locatelli, set in a huge green park. The experience will begin with a visit to the historic villa, whose legends and peculiarities you will discover.
One very special anecdote is related to the First World War: during this period, the villa was transformed into a military hospital that also hosted the writer Ernest Hemingway. After visiting Villa Locatelli, you will move on to the cellar and barrique cellar to delve into the slow winemaking process that, day after day, leads to the birth of Tenuta di Angoris wines.
The highlight of the experience will be a romantic tasting inside an atmospheric renovated 150 hl barrel , overlooking the villa. You will be able to sit in the small tasting room set up inside the barrel and taste 3 of the most representative wines of the winery
- the decisive and seductive " Ravòst Merlot " from the "Riserva Giulio Locatelli" line DOC Friuli Colli Orientali;
- the surprising "Sauvignon Blanc " of the " Villa Locatelli" line DOC Isonzo line;
- the exuberant sparkling wine "Modolet" Charmat method .
The tasting will also include a sampling of local gastronomic delicacies such as Prosciutto San Daniele and Montasio cheese.
The experience will last a total of 1 .5 hours, with approximately 1 hour of visiting and 30 minutes of tasting.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors can take part in the experience free of charge; water and fruit juice will be available for them.
The estate is accessible with buggies and prams, with the exception of the barrique cellar.
Other information
The experience is available all year round, Monday to Saturday, and is intended for private groups of up to 6 people.

On-site parking is available for guests and it is possible to reach the winery by public transport (bus stop about 500 m away).
Dogs are welcome; they have access to all areas except the wine cellar.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
