Full description
The tonnara (tuna fishery) of Scopello is a place rich in history and incredible landscapes that will captivate you, as will the Zingaro Nature Reserve and its coves, naturalistic settings dominated by white beaches, rocks and a blue sea.
Aprivate boat with a skipper will be waiting for you in San Vito to spend a different day with your friends and relatives. Moments that will also be enlivened by frequent bathing in the sea and a visit to the Grotta della Madonnina.
What we will do
The rendezvous is in San Vito Lo Capo, in the province of Trapani. Once you and your group have boarded the boat, we will be ready to set off in the direction of the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Since this is a private tour, you will be able to agree on the itinerary and stops together.
As a classic tour, the first stop will be at Cala dell'Uzzo, a cove characterised by a white beach and washed by a clear sea.
Immediately afterwards I will take you to the Tonnara di Scopello, a place steeped in history and dominated by imposing stacks. We will then head to Castellammare del Golfo, a municipality located on the slopes of the Monte Inici mountain range, where you can disembark to see the historic centre.
Once the visit is over, we will sail back to Cala Bianca and visit the Grotta della Madonnina. The last stop will be Cala Divisa. In both places there is a swimming stop and, if you wish, you can also go snorkelling.
The tour lasts a total of 8 hours and ends with the return to the starting point.

The tour is for everyone and has no age limit.
The boat is wheelchair accessible. However, the organiser must be notified (you will find contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail).
Other information
The tour is available from April to November.
A lunch box is available on request for an extra €15 per person (cunzato bread, fresh fruit, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages). Changes to the menu can be agreed together in the event of allergies or intolerances.
The boat is a 5.50 m long fibreglass boat that can accommodate a maximum of 6 people. It has a Yamaha Supreme Getl 40-horsepower outboard motor and is equipped with a double sundeck, sun canopy, life jackets, ring life jacket, first aid kit, memory form cushions, 6 kg anchor with chain, gps system. To ensure cleanliness and safety, we sanitise our boats every time they are used.
Dogs are allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
