Lipari, the largest. Panarea, the most glamorous. Stromboli, the most explosive!
Visit three of the Aeolian islands with afull-day motorboat tour from Vibo Marina and disembark ashore to savour the slow life of the archipelago.
Admiring the spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco from the sea will be the most indelible memory of your holiday.
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before 08: 00 at the meeting point in Vibo Marina.
Once everyone has boarded the motorboat, at around 08: 20, we’ll set sail to begin our journey along the coast of Tropea and Capo Vaticano, known as the Costa degli Dei.
The on-board guide will give us some advice on how best to plan our stops on the Aeolian Islands, which we will be free to explore once we’ve disembarked.
At 11: 00 we’ll arrive on the island of Lipari, where we’ll stay until 13: 15. During our free time ashore, we can explore the historic centre, the castle and the Archaeological Museum on foot, or make the most of the time available to sample some typical Aeolian specialities.
After setting sail from Lipari, we’ll arrive at the port of San Pietro in Panarea at around 14: 00 and stay here until 15: 30. Our stop on the most glamorous of the Aeolian Islands will give us a taste of its atmosphere, which we can experience by visiting the village and wandering through the traditional shops.
At around 4. 15 pm, we’ll reach Stromboli and disembark for a three-hour stop, during which you’ll be free to explore the village of San Vincenzo, take a stroll along the black-sand beach or go for a swim in the cobalt-blue waters.
We’ll return to the motorboat at around 7. 15 pm to sail past Strombolicchio and along the island’s coastline. We’ll arrive in front of the Sciara del Fuoco and stop for 30 minutes to admire the night-time eruption of the active volcano from the comfort of the boat. After witnessing this marvellous spectacle, we’ll begin our return journey.
We are due to return to Vibo Marina at around 11. 30 pm, making the trip last a total of around 15 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended from 2 years of age. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is wheelchair-accessible: contact the organiser for boarding support.
Other information
The activity is available from June to October.
Stops on the islands are free for the participants to visit; there is no accompanying guide on land.
The excursion takes place on board a motor vessel 36 m long and with a capacity of 306 persons, equipped with an open deck, covered area, WC and bar service. It is possible to carry small luggage on the ship. It is not permitted to travel with bulky objects such as beach umbrellas or children's toys. Shoes are permitted on board.
The disembarkation fee of € 5 per person, payable locally, is not included in the fee.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport within the excursion departure time.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
