Has visiting the Aeolian Islands always been your dream? Take a day to make it come true!
Set sail from Tropea and sail along the Costa degli Dei on a motorboat to the Aeolian archipelago. Disembark in Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli and get ready to fall in love with their unique atmosphere, between walks in the historic centre and volcanic panoramas to be immortalised.
The highlight of the tour? Definitely the spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco , which you can admire from the sea!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Tropea.
Once we have completed boardingthe motorboat, we will set sail to begin our navigation along the coast of Tropea and Capo Vaticano, nicknamed the Costa degli Dei.
The guide on board will give us some advice on how best to plan our stops on the Aeolian Islands, which we will be able to visit freely once we are ashore.
We will then land on theisland of Lipari, where we will stop for about 2 hours. During the free stopover ashore we can explore the old town centre, the Castle and the Archaeological Museum on foot, or use the time to sample some typical Aeolian cuisine.
Departing from Lipari, we will arrive at the port of San Pietro in Panarea and stop here for about 1½ hours. The stop on the most glamorous island of the Aeolian Islands will allow us to get a taste of its atmosphere, which we will be able to grasp by visiting the village and getting lost among the typical shops.
Back on board we will reach Stromboli and disembark for a 3-hour stop, during which we can freely visit the village of San Vincenzo, take a walk on the black sandy beach or a swim in the cobalt blue waters.
We will re-board the motorboat to sail along Strombolicchio and the coast of the island. We will arrive in front of the Sciara del Fuoco and make a 30-minute stop to admire thenight-time eruption of the active volcano from the comfort of the boat. After witnessing this wonderful spectacle, we will begin the return journey to Tropea.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 2 years old and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is wheelchair accessible: contact the organiser for boarding support.
Other information
The activity is available from June to September.
Stops on the islands are free for the participants to visit; there is no accompanying guide on land.
The excursion takes place on board a motor vessel 36 m long and with a capacity of 306 persons, equipped with an open deck, covered area, WC and bar service. It is possible to carry small luggage on the ship. It is not permitted to travel with bulky objects such as beach umbrellas or children's toys. Shoes are permitted on board.
The disembarkation fee of € 5 per person, payable locally, is not included in the fee.
Dogs are not permitted on board.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport within the excursion departure time.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
