What does an alpaca sound like?
This and many other curiosities await you during our experience of discovering the world of alpacas: in the company of an educational guide, you will learn about and interact directly with these amazing animals. You will be able to pet them, feed them and learn more about wool processing.
A 1-hour experience, at the end of which you will know what an alpaca does (no spoilers) .
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Venasca (CN) . We will find the didactic operator waiting for us, who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with an introduction to the world of alpacas: what their characteristics are, what they eat, where they come from, and many other curiosities to get to know these amazing animals better. We will then meet the stars of the farm: Croissant, Chocolat, Chestnut and Caramella are just some of the alpacas with whom we will be able to interact! We will be able to pet them, feed them and take cute souvenir photos.
After this very soft encounter, we will delve into the processing of alpaca wool: using special tools, the operator will demonstrate the transformation of the raw material into a ball of wool. With alpaca wool, it is possible to produce quality clothing, accessories and gifts, handmade (and with a lot of heart) by our operator.
And to end on a sweet note, we will enjoy a snack of handmade biscuits or cakes accompanied by tea or coffee. But never as sweet as the alpacas that have kept us company on this adventure!
The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 7 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
The experience is suitable for people with disabilities and is wheelchair accessible. The disabled person participates free of charge while the accompanying person pays the participant fee: contact the operator at the contact details given in the booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of a disabled person.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
