Join us for an unforgettable experience with birds of prey in San Vigilio di Marebbe, at the foot of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park.
Together with Mario, an expert falconer, you will first visit the aviaries to admire more than 40 species of birds of prey from every corner of the globe.
This approximately 2-hour experience will give you the opportunity to get up close to the world of nocturnal and diurnal birds of prey, learning about their habits, unique characteristics and importance to the ecosystem. We look forward to seeing you!
What we will do
We’ll meet at 3 pm in San Vigilio di Marebbe (BZ), at the foot of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park, one of the most fascinating protected areas in the Dolomites.
We will hold an introductory briefing, during which falconer Mario will tell us about the wildlife park and how he has turned his passion into a life’s mission, dedicating himself to the care and protection of these magnificent birds.
We will then visit the aviaries, home to over 40 species of birds of prey from every corner of the world, including eagles, owls, little owls and tawny owls. We will hear fascinating stories about their lives, behaviour and the conservation efforts to protect species at risk of extinction. The visit will last approximately one and a half hours.
For those who wish, it will be possible to interact with the birds and take a photo with them, always respecting the animals. Furthermore, at the site you will also be able to meet other animals, including rabbits, goats and koi carp.
The experience lasts a total of approximately 2 hours.

The experience takes place on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays from July to September.
The venue can be reached by public transport.
Dogs are allowed at the facility, but must remain in the special box during the entire experience.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
