Take part in aunique experience that will allow you to get in touch with the nature of the Paliano forest and the fantastic world of birds of prey.
An expert educational divulger will explain the history of falconry and show you the fundamental techniques for calling birds of prey to your arm.
During the walk through the forest , you will discover the flora and fauna that inhabit it while your new friends perch on your glove. Get ready to make the acquaintance of buzzards and barn owls that will accompany you along the way!
What we will do
We will meet in Paliano, in the province of Frosinone at the time selected during the booking process.
During the first phase of the experience, the falconer will explain to us how the activity will be carried out and will begin to give us some information on the discipline, which used to be aimed at training birds of prey to hunt, whereas today it consists mainly of studying communication with these splendid birds.
Then we will go into the Paliano woods together with a sweet barn owl and a very good and tame buzzard . We will learn how to call the birds of prey on our arm, listening to the instructions of the falconer who will accompany us along with his friendly animals. He will also help us get them to perch on our glove, teaching us how to communicate with them.
We will walk 2 km on a beaten path through the forest and, while we will discover many interesting facts about the flora and fauna, with a bit of luck, we will be able to spot some of the forest animals such as hedgehogs, badgers and turtles.
The experience lasts a total of one and a half hours and will end with the return to the point where we met.

The experience is aimed at everyone from the age of 6.

The activity takes place all year round: every day from April to September; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from October to March.
The experience is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
It is important not to wear brightly coloured clothing and shoes as they could disturb the fauna.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
