He has an enviable forelock. Who are we talking about?
And no, it's not Elvis Presley. It's the Cockatoo, one of the species you'll meet during our parrot experience in the province of Arezzo: in the company of a guide, you'll get to know and interact directly with Cockatoos and Macaws, stroking them and admiring them in flight.
A 2-hour experience, with a typical Tuscan aperitif included!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ponte alla Piera in the municipality of Anghiari (AR). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and communicated the day's destination, we will each return in our own vehicle to reach the location of the experience within 10 km. The activity will take place in the splendid setting of Anghiari and its surroundings, one of Tuscany's most beautiful villages.
Once on site, a brief introduction to the world of parrots will take place: we will learn about the different species, their behaviour and habits. And after delving into their nature, it will be time to meet them: the Macaws and Cockatoos; the former are large South American parrots, while the latter are Australian parrots with an enviable tuft.
And here we will be able to interact directly with the parrots: they are particularly affectionate animals so they will be the first to seek contact, they will perch on our bodies and demand caresses (which we will not fail to do). We can even make them fly, admiring their colourful plumage painting the sky!
Still in our own vehicles, we will finally return to the meeting point. Here we will find an aperitif of local products such as cold meats, cheeses and baked goods awaiting us, accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.

The experience is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
