Imagine being able to enter the secret world of birds of prey, these magnificent predators of the sky.
We invite you to a unique experience: become a falconer for a day in the Potenza Picena countryside, an adventure that will allow you to connect with nature in a way you have never experienced before.
You will spend a day in contact with owls, buzzards, hawks and eagles in the beautiful scenery of the Marche hills and enjoy a typical lunch at a local agriturismo. Put wings on your desires!
What we will do
We’ll meet at 10: 00 am for a warm welcome at the meeting point in Potenza Picena, in the hills of the Marche region.
Our day will begin with a brief introduction to falconry, before getting down to business with the presentation of the birds. We will have the unique opportunity to get up close to 10 birds from all over the world, from elusive owls to majestic eagles, not forgetting falcons and buzzards.
We won’t just observe them, but will become an active part of this experience: we’ll discover the differences between nocturnal and diurnal species, learn to call the birds of prey to our fist and carry out the first stages of training, feeling their weight on our arm.
We will then take a walk with the birds of prey through the countryside, an experience in which nature and the animals will take centre stage. Midway through the day, we’ll stop for lunch (included) at a local establishment, featuring a starter, first course, main course, drinks and coffee. It’ll be the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the hospitality of the Marche region.
In the afternoon, we will resume our activities with the birds of prey, admiring their flight and deepening our understanding of techniques and knowledge. Finally, we will bring our day to a close, but not before capturing these moments with a photo session. Each participant will also receive a certificate of participation as a memento of this adventure.
The activity will last a total of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult paying the participant fee.
The experience is wheelchair accessible.

The activity takes place from March to October at weekends and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
