Join our falconry experience in Orvieto: in the company of a falconry guide, you will learn about the fascinating world of birds of prey. You will attend flight demonstrations and try to hold a bird of prey in your fist!
A 3-hour experience, on the wings of adventure!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Torre San Severo in the municipality of Orvieto (TR). We will be welcomed by the falconer-guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, anintroduction to the world of falconry will take place: what falconry is, how many and which species exist, how they are trained and other curiosities. In addition, the guide will not fail to provide all useful information for a carefree experience.
And here we will meet our 'companions in adventure': Harris's buzzard, eagle owl, barn owl, peregrine falcon and golden eagle; the specimens involved may vary according to availability on the day based on animal welfare. We will therefore have the opportunity to interact directly with birds of prey: we will watch flight demonstrations and, once we have our falconer's glove on, we will fly a bird of prey into our fist!
The experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit, but recommended from 15 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is suitable for persons with motor and non-motor disabilities, but there is no toilet for disabled persons on site.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
