Put on the glove. Prepare for take-off. And admire your bird of prey take flight!
This is what awaits you by participating in our falconry experience in the province of Arezzo: you will learn about these fascinating creatures, and then interact directly with various diurnal species. All in the splendid setting of Anghiari and its surroundings, one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany.
A 2-hour experience, with a typical Tuscan aperitif included!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ponte alla Piera in the municipality of Anghiari (AR). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and communicated the day's destination, we will each return in our own vehicle to reach the location of the experience within 10 km. The activity will take place in the splendid setting of Anghiari and its surroundings, one of Tuscany's most beautiful villages.
Once on site, a brief introduction to the world of birds of prey will take place: we will learn about the different species, their behaviour and habits. And after delving into their nature, it will be time to meet them: the white-tailed buzzard, the black kite, the white kite and the eagle; three of the aforementioned diurnal birds of prey will take part in the experience.
And here we will be able to interact directly with the birds of prey: we will wear the falconer's glove and hold them on our arm, fly them by calling them to our fist and feed them.
Still each in his or her own vehicle, we will finally return to the meeting point. Here we will find an aperitif of local products such as cold meats, cheeses and baked goods waiting for us, accompanied by an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. And keeping us company for the occasion will be the eagle owl!
The experience will last a total of 2 hours.

The experience is suitable for 12 years and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
