Take part in afascinating experience at the foot of the Sibillini Mountainsand discover an ancient activity such as falconry, declared aUNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Falconry is the art oftraining birds of prey. An experienced falconer will teach you how to call a falcon to the fist. You can walk with him in the middle of the forest and watch him fly free through the trees.
If you love animals and are curious about birds of prey, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
What we will do
The activity takes place in Norcia, in the province of Perugia. On arrival, we will be welcomed by the falconer and together with him we will visit the birds of prey centre, admiring specimens of diurnal and nocturnal species. We will discover all the characteristics and differences between these fascinating birds.
The guide will tell us about the history of falconry, the techniques used, the care and feeding of birds of prey. We will then move to the outdoor area and learn the fist call technique. We will then take a walk in the company of the falcon, calling it back and letting it fly free in the forest environment.
The activity will last about two hours in total.

This activity is suitable for everyone and does not require any requirements. Participation is possible from the age of 12 (accompanied by an adult).

This activity can be carried out from September to April and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
Clothing is recommended in colours as close as possible to the natural landscape.
Any accompanying persons may not participate in the activity.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
