Full description
Join a one-hour quad bike tour: you will drive on scenic unpaved stretches and dirt roads through the Calabrian undergrowth in the Pollino National Park.
You will cover 9 km on trails that wind through the territory of Tremoli, a small nature reserve in the municipality of Papasidero.
The wheels of your quad bike will allow you to traverse uneven trails, letting you have fun in the midst of nature and testing your driving skills.
What we will do
The meeting is in Tremoli, a hamlet of the Papasidero municipality on the banks of the Lao river. We will be welcomed by an expert guide who will explain to us during a short briefing how the quad bike works and the rules to follow for safe driving.
This is how our excursion will begin. We will cover 9 km between asphalt roads and dirt tracks in the Calabrian undergrowth.
A short uphill stretch will lead us to a spring from which a very light water gushes out. We will reach a hill on which three crosses stand in memory of soldiers who died in World War II.
We will then reach"La vedetta", a point where we can enjoy a 360 degree panorama of the Riviera dei Cedri and the Lao River Valley.
Finally, we will reach the highest point of our hike: Monte San Pietro, where we will approach the spring that was once used to collect water for the local population. From here our descent will begin, taking us back to our starting point.
The tour will take an hour and the experience, including the initial briefing, will last about an hour and a quarter in total.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is simple and is suitable for everyoneover the age of 5. A B1 driving licence is required to drive the quad bike.
Other information
The tour takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching at least 2 booked quads.
Important: the participation fee is per quad. One driver and one passenger can ride on each quad bike (with the possibility of swapping driving, if in possession of a B1 licence). When booking, you can select:
- Quadadults for 1 driver and possibly one passenger over the age of 14
- Quad bikeadults and children for 1driver and 1 passenger aged 5 to 13.
The centre has 5 quads for the use of participants, so up to 10 people may participate.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
