If your favourite character from *Pinocchio* has always been Geppetto, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for to become a woodworker for a day!
Choose your favourite piece of wood and craft the item of your choice with the help of an expert in the field. Then relax in the countryside and stay at a farm in the province of Rieti.
You’ll have the chance to switch off with an adventure far removed from your daily routine and your smartphone!
What we will do
Check-in is from 10. 30 am at a farm in the province of Rieti. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and shown to your accommodation.
You’ll be staying in a comfortable room in one of the farmhouses, equipped with Wi-Fi and a double bed. You’ll find a private bathroom (with access from outside the room) , bed linen and towels, and everything you need to unwind. The accommodation is heated in winter and ventilated in summer (there is no air conditioning) .
Once you’ve settled in, you’ll get started on the day’s activity. You’ll meet the woodcraftsman who’ll guide you through a fantastic woodcarving workshop. First of all, you’ll choose together which piece of wood to work with from those available in the olive grove. Then you’ll follow his instructions and the steps needed to create the object of your choice! !
The workshop will run from morning until afternoon, with a lunch break of around 2 hours ( included) . The menu will feature a first course, a side dish, water and wine, coffee and liqueur, and will be made entirely with local specialities. You’ll round off the activity by finishing your wooden piece, which you can take home!
For dinner, you can dine in the property’s small restaurant (service not included – to be paid for on site) or ask for recommendations to explore the surrounding area; whilst the following morning, after a well-deserved restful night’s sleep, a wholesome breakfast of bread, butter, jam and seasonal fruit will await you.
Check-out is by 11. 00 am at the latest.

This experience is for those aged 18 and over.
The venue is not accessible to wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
The woodcarving course is suitable for everyone, including beginners.

The experience is available all year round. Check-in is from 10. 30 am, whilst check-out must be completed by 11. 00 am at the latest.
The woodcarving course is not a private activity; you may be sharing it with other participants.
If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the organiser using the contact details you will receive once your booking has been confirmed, to let them know in advance.
If you wish, you can have dinner at the venue’s restaurant (payment on site, à la carte) . Alternatively, the organisers can recommend some local restaurants where you can eat.
Dogs are not permitted.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
