Homework, television and the same old routine… but children need so much more than that!
Spark their curiosity with this farm visit in Valtellina: an activity designed just for them, where they’ll get to meet horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens and ponies, and learn about these animals’ habits.
Don’t leave it all to the imagination: it’s time for a fun adventure!
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Poggiridenti (SO).
Our guide will be waiting for us there to take us to the farm. After a warm welcome, we’ll introduce ourselves and hear an interesting overview of the barn.
Immediately afterwards, the exploration will begin: surrounded by a large green area framed by the famous terraced vineyards of Valtellina, we’ll come into direct contact with the animals. In some enclosures we’ll be able to walk around freely, whilst in others we’ll need to be more careful, learning to distinguish between the different breeds and their habits through physical contact.
We’ll be able to cuddle some ever-so-cute little rabbits and feed the horses Floris and Faitze. There’ll also be plenty of time to stroke Sissy the pony, the donkeys and the sheep Menta, Nebbiolo and Lavanda.
Finally, to round off the day in style, we’ll all go together to track down the hens and find out where they’ve laid their eggs!
The activity will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for children aged 2 and over. Children under 5 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Accompanying adults may join the tour free of charge, together with the children.
The activity is accessible to wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility. Please contact the organisers in advance using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know you will be attending.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
