Caramella, Errol and Silente are just some of the animals that await you at the Casalzuigno wildlife residence!
You willexperience nature in the beautiful scenery of the Valcuvia: you will meet fascinating birds of prey and friendly farmyard animals, which you can pet or feed.
And as a sweet (or savoury) conclusion, a tasty snack prepared by the hostess!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Casalzuigno (VA). We will be welcomed by the guide, who will welcome us into her home for an initial introduction: not only will we feel "at home" but we will also learn to love her animals just like her!
Once we have been given the information we need for a carefree experience, we will meet the animals. From fascinating daytime and nocturnal birds of prey (yes, even the majestic eagles!) to friendly farmyard animals such as chickens, goats, rabbits and a piglet; when the temperatures allow, we will also meet insects such as bees and butterflies.
Not only will we get to know them better thanks to the guide's stories, we will also be able to interact with the animals by stroking them and feeding them! And wearing a falconer's glove, we will also be able to try our hand at calling a bird of prey to the fist.
The activity will end in the sweetest (or saltiest) way with a snack (included): this includes baked goods, cakes and jams lovingly prepared by the hostess, accompanied by local products.
The experience will last a total of 2 hours but we can stay in the park in the company of the animals for as long as we wish, just as if we were at home!
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have authorisation. Children aged 0 to 6 years participate free of charge: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.
The centre is not accessible by wheelchair, pushchair or similar due to the lay of the land.

The experience takes place all year round.
There is free parking on site and in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
