Full description
You don't need thick red hair and a mermaid tail to conquer the sea.
Come to the bottom of the sea... of San Vito Lo Capo and experience your sea baptism in the company of an experienced instructor.
For 40 minutes, you will breathe underwater up to a depth of 6 metres. Ariel, watch and learn!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in San Vito Lo Capo (TP), at the time indicated during the booking process. Our instructor will be waiting for us, ready to take us underwater!
We will receive our equipment and immediately begin to familiarise ourselves with the activity; the instructor will explain the basics for facing our first dive in complete safety in a briefing lasting about 15 minutes. Once we are dressed, we are ready to go!
On board our dinghy we will reach the designated dive site in about 15 minutes : a quick review of the notions acquired and off we go, down to the bottom of the sea! The instructor will follow us for the entire duration of the descent, which we will face equipped with an aqualung.
We will then experience the unique sensation of breathing underwater for about 40 minutes, reaching a maximum depth of about 6 metres. During the dive, we will explore the beauty of the Mediterranean seabed: octopuses, urchins, starfish, shells, seaweed, sponges, and dozens of colourful fish will be just some of the natural wonders we will encounter during the descent.
At the end of the dive, we will re-board the dinghy to head back to our starting point. On the way, the beautiful coastline of San Vito Lo Capo will be the backdrop to our navigation. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 10 and in good health.
The ability to swim is recommended.
Children under the age of 18 may participate accompanied.
The activity is not suitable for people with lung problems and pregnant women.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October.
The activity will take place on board an approximately 7-metre long dinghy with a 200 hp Honda engine, equipped with a canopy and a USB socket.
It is possible to carry out the activity with your own equipment, at the same price.
Showers, a storage room and a changing room are available on site.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.
