Raise the nets, daje! Board an authentic fishing boat for ahalf-day fishing trip off the coast of Terracina.
Let the captain guide you, discover the secrets of the trade, and catch crabs, cuttlefish, shrimp, octopus, and fish with him.
And of course, don't forget to have an aperitif of the day's catch after a nice dip in the blue sea!
What we will do
The appointment is early in the morning at the Port of Terracina. We will meet about 15 minutes before 8.00 a.m. with the captain who will welcome us and let us board the 10-metre fishing boat that we will use for our fishing trip.
We will head to the foot of Monte Sant'Angelo, also known as Monte Giove, where we will first pull up the nets set the night before by the fishermen.
Together with the captain, we will begin thetask of hauling up the nets: here we will learn the tricks of the trade and help the fishermen complete this valuable activity. From the nets will come out octopuses, shrimps, white fish, blue crabs- a real feast of goodness!
Around 10 a.m. we will anchor the boat for a swim stop of about an hour and a half. After re-boarding the boat, we will enjoy an excellent fish aperitif, which may vary depending on the catch of the day, accompanied by prosecco, water and soft drinks.
We will return to port at around 11.30 a.m., after about three and a half hours of experience.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The activity takes place every day from June to September, and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
