If fishing fascinates you and you see the sea as a place of infinite possibilities, perhaps it is time to embark on this exciting adventure!
Join a full-day fishing trip to Cefalù and discover how a fisherman approaches the sea with his most important tools: a fishing boat, a net and a lot of patience.
Takea swim in the Santa Lucia area while you wait for the catch of the day to arrive on your table to experience the goodness of the sea at zero metres!
What we will do
We will arrive about 20 minutes early at the meeting point at the port of Cefalù to meet the captain who will share with us precious tricks of the trade during our adventure at sea.
At 8.30 a.m. we will head to the fishing area for a fascinating tour of the coast, enriched by the stories and curiosities told by the fisherman who will tell us about his work and the art of finding fish.
Having stopped the boat, we will hang on the lips of the fisherman who, proceeding to retrieve the nets left in the water the previous day, will show us this ancient craft amidst anecdotes and curiosities. After cleaning the nets and collecting the catch, we will enjoy a break of about 2½ hours for a refreshing swim in the waters of Santa Lucia.
For lunch, we will have the pleasure of trying the fried catch of the day, as well as bruschetta and a fish-based starter with local wine, beer or soft drinks (lunch and one drink included in the fee).
We will end our day by returning to the port of departure at around 2.30 p.m., after about 6 hours of experience.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is for everyone and has no age limit.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place daily from May to October, and is confirmed with a minimum of four participants.
The boat used is a 9.5-metre fishing boat without a toilet. Food and drinks are not allowed on board.
Dogs are welcome if small and medium-sized.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
