Full description
If you are already a fishing enthusiast or are curious to try it for the first time, we recommend you book this experience in Taranto now that will make you feel like an authentic fisherman.
Sport fishing with bolentinois an activity that is practised with the boat at a standstill, anchored or free to move thanks to the current. You will test your skills on very fishy grounds well known to our skippers, within 1 mile of the Taranto coastline.
You will also have the chance to take your catch home with you: all you have to do is see what might bite!
What we will do
The appointment is in the morning (or afternoon) at Taranto harbour. We will be welcomed by Alessandro, an experienced fisherman and skipper who will accompany us in the activity, providing us with all the necessary equipment (fishing rods, bait, hooks, etc.).
Once on the motor boat, we will be taken to the best spots where we can get to work. We will not go too far from the shore: the maximum depth of the seabed will be 50 m, about 1 mile from the coast.
It will also be an experience suitable for beginners as Alessandro has invented special terminals that never cheat, perfect for those who have never been fishing before. Watch out because yours will not be just a simple exercise! In fact, you will be able to keep and take home with you all the fish that bite your hook.
You will also be offered water and coffee on board to refresh you during this day at sea, while breakfast snacks and packed lunches will have to be brought by participants.
We will return to the starting point in Taranto after about 6 hours of activity.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an easy level and suitable for everyone from 11 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

The activity is available from April to November, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 3 participants.
Thetimes indicated in the calendar are indicative and flexible. The organiser will contact you a few days before the activity to inform you of the final timetable.
The boat is a 6-metre, 40 hp Suzuki motorboat, not wheelchair accessible.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
