Acrobatic tandem paragliding flight in Cefalù

Our aerobatic paragliding flight in Cefalù is just the thing for you: you will experience 20 minutes of pure adrenalin, engaging in spectacular aerial acrobatics. You will try the extreme manoeuvre 'The Wingover', admiring the beautiful coastal town and the sea of Sicily even upside down!

You will fly in maximum safety, in tandem with a world champion paraglider, with 20 years of experience and 2 victories at the Italian championships.

As a memento of this experience you will receive a video of your flight!

What we will do

The meeting point is near Cefalù (PA), north of Sicily. Here we will meet the pilot and, with the means provided by the organisation, we will move together to the take-off point.

If wind conditions permit, we will remain in the municipality of Cefalù or move to other take-off areas in the province of Palermo. You will be able to express your preference on the take-off area.

Once wearrive at the take-off point, 500 metres above sea level, we will have an exhaustive briefing on the activity, in which the pilot will give us all the necessary information on the various phases of the flight and the safety rules for dealing with the experience in the best possible way.

After donning the equipment, we will then prepare for take-off:firmly harnessed together with the pilot, we will only have to take a few steps to run up and, before we know it, we will befloating in the air!

Buoyed by the ascending wind currents, we will experience a feeling of absolute freedom and lightness. We will enjoy the breathtaking panorama beneath our feet, from the town of Cefalù to the crystal-clear sea of Sicily.

Afterwards, the pilot will perform aerobatics and evolutions in the air to give us moments of pure adrenaline.We can even ask the pilot, if we wish, to allow us to make a few turns by manoeuvring the paraglider ourselves. After about 15 to 20 minutes of flight, we will land softly on the beach near the meeting point.

The total duration of the experience is about 1½ to 2 hours including the pre-flight briefing and paragliding flight. In some cases the duration may be longer, depending on the take-off area chosen by the pilot.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone. No specific skills or physical preparation are required, you just need to be able to take a few tentative steps with the rider. The only limit is on weight, which must be between 20 and 120 kg.

Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 must present a written consent signed by their parents. If not presented, they will not be able to take part in the activity and will not be reimbursed.

Caution! The meeting point may vary depending on weather conditions. This could be in Cefalù, Lascari, Sant'Ambrogio or Pollina: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail 1 day before the experience to ask for more information about the meeting point.

Please arrive at the meeting point approximately 15 minutes before the agreed time.

The activity can be booked all year round, subject to weather and pilot availability.

Important: paragliding is an activity that is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the planned date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation of the flight feasibility, time and location. You will be able to express your preference on the flight area and, if necessary, agree on another date with the pilot in case you are unable to make the flight.

Up to 4 people can fly at the same time.

The package includes a video shot with GoPro that will be shared on your smartphone.
