Get ready to touch the clouds with an ultralight flight baptism in Montalto Dora, in the province of Turin.
This experience lasting a total of 40 minutes will be a real journey into the world of aviation: you will discover the secrets of flying alongside a pilot and experience the thrill of piloting an ultralight aircraft thanks to the dual controls.
For 20 minutes the sky will be your playground... get ready for take-off!
What we will do
We will meet at the avioclub in Montalto Dora (TO), 10 minutes before the start time. On your arrival you will meet one of the pilots of our team, a group of friends united by their passion for flying, and together we will take our first steps into the fascinating world of aviation.
The experience will begin with a detailed briefing on the ultralight, where we will explain every detail of the aircraft. You will learn about aerodynamics, operation, and on-board instruments, thus preparing you for the exciting flight ahead.
After the briefing, we will enter the cockpit and put on our seatbelts before proceeding to the start-up. Radio communications will give us the go-ahead to proceed with take-off... we're flying!
We will fly over the runway and the surroundings of Montalto Dora, admiring this border area between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta from above. During the 20-minute flight you will keep your hands on the dual controls to feel the thrill of being in control of the ultralight. The pilot will show you how to perform some common manoeuvres, such as turning and descending, ensuring that the experience is totally smooth and safe.
At the end of our aerial adventure, we will prepare forlanding and do a short debriefing to talk about your feelings and emotions during the flight.
The total duration of the experience will be 40 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 12. For minors , the presence of an accompanying adult is required.
The requirements for participation are a state of good health, a maximum height of 1.90 m and a maximum weight of 100 kg.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round (with a winter break between December and January), weather permitting.
Please note. Flights only take place in favourable weather conditions. In the event of bad weather and/or adverse conditions of any kind, the experience may be postponed or modified at the pilot's sole discretion.
You will be on board a two-seater ultralight aircraft with dual controls, model Groppo Trail, Kitfox, Savannah or Albatros (depending on availability).
In the case of several participants, the briefing will be held jointly, while the flight will be conducted individually. Subject to availability of pilots and equipment, it is possible to request a simultaneous flight with several ultralights taking off together, while participants can keep in touch via radio.
During the experience, it is possible to take videos and photos with your smartphone.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
