Tell me how you react in front of a rock face and I will tell you what the experience is for you.
If you start climbing, the answer is in the question. If, on the other hand, you are thinking of harnessing the energy of the air generated by the verticality of the sheer cliff face, this paragliding experience is for you: in the company of a professional pilot, you will fly for at least 20 minutes between sky and sea, with panoramic views of the Sicilian hinterland and the Aeolian Islands.
And to end on a high note, enjoy a scenic landing on the beach!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Calavà (ME). Waiting for you will be the pilot who will accompany you on this paragliding adventure!
After an initial presentation on the beach, anintroduction to the activity and the equipment used will take place. You will then board the pilot's vehicle to reach the take-off point at an altitude of 450 metres , which is only 10 minutes away.
Once at the destination, it will be time for dressing and a briefing in preparation for the flight. Just a couple of steps, a short jog, and you will take your feet off the ground: you will fly for at least 20 minutes enjoying a unique panoramic view of theSicilian hinterland and the Aeolian Islands, comfortably seated in the harness secured to the pilot. You will harness the energy of the air created by the spectacular vertical wall above the sea, which will take you higher and higher!
You will finally return to the rendezvous point, with a landing on the beach; everything will be captured in photos and videos recorded with GoPro, which will soon be handed over to you by the pilot. The experience will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 6; children under the age of 18 must present signed consent from both parents.
Good health is required to participate in the activity. A weight between 20 kg and 130 kg is required to participate in the activity.

Caution! Paragliding is a weather-dependent activity. The pilot will contact you the evening before the date to confirm or postpone the experience based on the latest weather report.
The experience takes place all year round.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
