Tandem paragliding flight in San Giuliano Terme

What we will do

The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in San Giuliano Terme (PI). Here we will meet our pilot and, by our own means or using the additional transfer service, we will move to the take-off area. Once there, we will begin preparation for the flight.

We will have a briefing on the principles of paragliding, and we will be instructed on all safety rules and how to behave during the various phases of the flight. Then we'll prepare our equipment, settle into our harnesses and, firmly attached to the pilot, take off. It will be very simple: just a few steps and we will be in the air almost without realising it!

During the 15-20 minute flight we will be able to take photos and videos, but most of all we will be able to admire the breathtaking panorama of the Monti Pisani, which on clear days will open up to give us a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Those brave enough will also be able to ask the pilot to take the controls of the paraglider, performing small flight manoeuvres.

The landing phase will also be very simple: we will descend progressively until we hit the ground with asoft and gentle impact. The activity lasts a total of 1½ hours and ends with the return to the starting point.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone. No special physical skills or flying knowledge are needed: the passenger's task is easy and natural, all you need is a little courage, to be in good health and to be able to take a short jog. You can participate from the age of 14 and weighing between 45 and 110 kg.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.

Other information

Important: paragliding is an activity that is strongly influenced by weather conditions. Contact the pilot the day before the activity to receive confirmation of the time and meeting point (you will receive his contact details after booking). Safety first: if the weather forecast is not good, the flight will be postponed until a later date.

In paragliding, it is virtually impossible to suffer from vertigo. However, it is possible to abort the flight for any reason and descend to the landing comfortably within a few minutes.

It is recommended that you eat your meals a few hours before the start of the activity, and the consumption of alcohol and/or drugs prior to the flight is prohibited.

A transfer service to the take-off point is available on request at a cost of €10.00 per person to be paid on site in cash; the service is optional as the take-off point can also be reached by own means.

A video of the flight can be requested for €20 (delivered via a link) or €30 (delivered on an SD card).
