Since my teenage years, flying has tickled my fancy to the point that I tried to build a prototype aircraft. Of course, the experimentation did not go well. In 1991 I enrolled in a hang gliding course and from there it was a continuous crescendo of experiences that led me to 6 VDS flight ratings.

Full description
Experience the thrill of a tandem paraglider flight over the Palermo coastline and admire from above some of Sicily's most beautiful seaside locations, such as Cefalù and Pollina.
Take off from aseafront elevation and fly with the support of the updrafts to a soft landing on the beach, while in the air you enjoy a real picture-postcard landscape!
In tandem with an experienced pilot, your experience will take place in complete safety and as soon as you put your feet back on the ground you will be eager to take off again!
What we will do
The meeting with the pilot will take place at the Lido Salinelle in Lascari (PA). From there you will reach together the take-off point located several hundred metres above sea level.
Before the flight, you will have a detailed briefing on the operation of the paraglider and the rules of behaviour and safety. After that, well harnessed and firmly attached to each other, you will prepare for take-off.
It will only take a few steps downhill to take flight and begin your descent towards the sea, supported by the ascending currents. You will be comfortably seated admiring the landscape and enjoying the extraordinary feeling of freedom. In particularly favourable conditions, you can also take the controls and try your hand at flying the paraglider under the guidance of the pilot.
Depending on the currents of the day, you will fly to Cefalù, Pollina, or other locations along the Palermo coastline and, after about 15-20 minutes of flight, you will land softly on the beach. In all, the activity will last about 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach and requires no special skills or preparation. All you need is to be in good health, able to take a few steps and weigh between 40 and 90 kg.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
