Live an unforgettable experience with a tandem paragliding flight in Gerace, a Calabrian village halfway betweenAspromonte and the Ionian coast.
You will fly carried by the ascending currents and admire the characteristic village perched on the mountains from above, reaching as far as the sea on the horizon.
Don't worry about a thing and remain comfortably seated while the experienced pilot provides for your safety, ensuring a comfortable, safe and exciting flight.
What we will do
You will meet the pilot near Gerace (RC), a characteristic village located between the Aspromonte National Park and the Ionian coast, in a highly scenic setting.
Once you reach the take-off point, you will have a pre-flight briefing during which the pilot will explain the operation of the paraglider and provide you with all the instructions you need to fly safely. You will then put on your helmet and harness and, securely held by the pilot, you will only need to take off a few steps to take off and join the flow of the updrafts.
During the flight - lasting a maximum of 30 minutes, depending on the wind - you will be comfortably seated and fly over the characteristic medieval village of Gerace, one of the most beautiful in Italy, enjoying an incredible view of the surrounding hills and the Locride area, as far as the Ionian Sea.
The activity will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding does not require any specific skills or experience. It can be carried out by anyone in good physical condition and weighing between 30 and 130 kg, generally from the age of 10. Participants under the age of 18 must necessarily be accompanied on site by an adult who must sign a release form.
Pregnant women may not fly. For disabled persons, conditions must be assessed on a case-by-case basis (contact us privately for more information).

This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting.
Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the planned date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation on the feasibility of the flight, also informing you of theaddress for the meeting point.
The activity takes place in tourist locations of great natural beauty. Non-flying companions are welcome at the take-off point, where they can enjoy some relaxation and watch the flight.
Even when the chosen time is confirmed, it may vary depending on weather and wind conditions. The pilot will contact you the day before to tell you the exact time to meet.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
