Tandem paragliding flight at Laveno-Mombello

Who says you need wings to fly? In Laveno-Mombello, all you need is a tandem paraglider, a pilot with 30 years' experience and a pinch of courage.

You will take off from Monte Cuvignone, at an altitude of 1,150 metres, and glide for 15-20 minutes with a crazy view: Lake Maggiore, Lake Varese and a couple of other lakes that you didn't even know existed, but which you will immediately want to visit.

What we will do

The meeting point is in Laveno-Mombello. From here, we will take a shuttle bus (included) to the take-off on Monte Cuvignone, at an altitude of approximately 1,150 metres. The journey takes 30-40 minutes.

Once at the top, the pilot will help you with theharness, helmet, and will explain everything you need to face the flight in total safety. After the briefing, a few steps of run-up... you'll be in the air!

The flight takes about 15-20 minutes, depending on weather conditions. A spectacular panorama will open up before you: Lake Maggiore, the lakes of Varese, Monate and Comabbio, and the spectacle of the Lombardy Pre-Alps from above.

Thelanding will be soft and will take place a few steps away from the meeting point. Everything will be immortalised by a GoPro, if you wish to take home the video (not included) of this incredible adventure.

The experience, between transfer, preparation and flight, takes about 2 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable from the age of 6. Children under the age of 18 may participate if both parents or guardians sign a release form.

To participate, you must weigh between 30 and 90 kg.

No experience is required; it is sufficient to have a minimum of mobility to perform the take-off with the pilot.

Other information

The activity is available every day of the year.

The paragliding flight is strictly weather-related and may be subject to time variations, at the pilot's discretion. A couple of days before the scheduled activity and after checking the weather forecast, the pilot will contact you to inform you of the meeting time.

The duration of the flight is indicative: it may vary slightly depending on weather conditions. With unfavourable conditions, especially in autumn and winter, the flight may be shorter; with optimal conditions, however, it may be a few minutes longer at no extra cost.

The meeting place is difficult to reach by public transport.

Any accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point (coincides with the landing point), where there is a bar.

If you wish, you can request a video of the flight from the pilot at an extra cost of €20.00 to be paid on site.
