Full description
A short run downhill, a jump and then off, free like a bird of prey flying over the Umbro-Marchigiani Apennines and dominating the woods, the nature and the gentle glimpses of Monte Gemmo, about 1,200 m above sea level.
Just a dream? No, with this tandem paraglider flight you will soar through the skies together with an experienced pilot, who will will take you through the clouds to give you an experience of absolute freedom and emotion.
From a privileged position you will dominate the natural beauties natural beauty of the Apennines, the characteristic villages nestled in the greenery and, with a bit of luck, meet hawks, buzzards, kestrels and eagles!
What we will do
The meeting point for the start of the activity is in Sigillo (PG). Here we will meet the pilot and together we will move to the flight area, about 40 minutes away by car. Should we prefer to meet directly at the launch area, the pilot himself will inform us of the exact address, once it has been decided according to the wind conditions.
Once we arrive at Monte Gemmo for the take-off, we will have a preparation briefing on everything we need to know to carry out the activity in the best possible way: the rules of behaviour and safety, the principles of paragliding operation, and take-off andlanding instructions.
After that, well harnessed and secured to the pilot, we will begin our descent and in no time at all we will be in the air, ready to rely on the ascending wind currents that will carry the paraglider aloft and support its descent to a soft landing.
For the duration of the flight - 15 to 30 minutes depending on the wind - we will be immersed in a landscape characterised by gentle slopes, green meadows, dense forests and small villages nestled in nature: a joy for the eyes and the spirit!
Between transfers, preparation and flight, the activity will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach. It does not require any special physical abilities or previous experience, only good mental and physical condition. You can participate from the age of 7 and weigh between 30 and 90 kg.

Attention. You must arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity can be carried out all year round, subject to weather conditions and pilot availability.
Important: Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. If it is not possible to fly over Monte Gemmo on the day you have booked, the pilot may suggest you fly to other locations in Umbria or the Marches. The day before the flight, you will receive a communication from the pilot informing you of the activity, also giving you confirmation of the time, flight area and meeting address.
Simultaneous flying is possible for up to 3 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
