Take your feet off the ground and admire the world from above with a tandem paragliding flight in Pizzo Calabro, along the magnificent Costa degli Dei.
Let yourself be carried away by the ascending currents, enjoy a picture-postcard landscape, and get ready for aunique and unforgettable experience.
In tandem with a professional pilot, you will fly over the suggestive historical centre perched on the promontory and enjoy the incredible emotions of the descent to a soft landing on the beach.
What we will do
We will meet the pilot in Pizzo Calabro, on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, in the province of Vibo Valentia, and together with him we will reach the take-off point.
Before the flight, the pilot will explain how the paraglider works and give us a briefing on the rules of behaviour for safe flying. We will then put on our helmet andharness and prepare for take-off.
All it takes is a short run-up and in no time we will be in the air, flying with the support of the updrafts. The flight will last between 20 and 30 minutes - depending on the winds of the day - during which we will be able to admire the characteristic village of Pizzo Calabro at the top of the promontory overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the wide beaches, on which we will gently land.
The activity will last about 1 hour in total, including travel and preparation.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach, as long as you are in good health, able to make a short run and weigh between 30 and 130 kg.
Other information
This activity can be carried out all year round on weekends, with the exception of the month of August when you fly every day.
Important: paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather conditions. Contact the pilot 2 days before the planned date of the activity at the contact details given in the booking confirmation to confirm the time and feasibility of the flight.
Simultaneous flights for up to 3 participants at a time can be organised on request.
The participation fee includes the video of the experience (delivered on Micro SD), while for an additional €25, it is possible to request a personalised bottle of sparkling wine with name, which will be uncorked in flight.
