Full description
Experience the thrill of a tandem paragliding flight at Baio Dora, near the Serra d'Ivrea, one of Europe's most impressive moraine reliefs, in the province of Turin.
You will fly with the support of the updrafts and admire from above the whitewashed peaks and the sumptuous nature that dominates the area.
In tandem with an expert pilot, you will enjoy the experience in total peace and safety, and if you are brave enough you can take over the controls of the paraglider to try your hand at piloting!
What we will do
We will meet the pilot in Borgofranco d'Ivrea (TO ) and together we will go to the take-off point on Mount Cavallaria or near the village of Andrate. It will be up to the pilot to choose the flying area according to the wind conditions; in both cases it will take about half an hour to reach the take-off point from the meeting point.
Once at the site, we will have a briefing on how the paraglider works and the rules of behaviour and safety. Then we will put on our helmets andharnesses and, firmly attached to the pilot, prepare to take flight. All it takes is a short run to find ourselves in the air flying with the updrafts.
We will fly over a scenic landscape straddling Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, in front of the Serra d'Ivrea, a true morainic amphitheatre generated over the course of millennia by the accumulation of sediment from melting glaciers. Today it appears as an imposing chain of reliefs covered by woods and vegetation.
The flight will last about 20 minutes, depending on the winds of the day, during which we will sit comfortably and admire the landscape and enjoy the feeling of freedom. And if we want an extra touch of adrenaline, we can try to fly the paraglider or perform some aerobatic manoeuvres, conditions permitting.
The activity will last about 1½ hours in total and will end with a landing near the initial meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
Paragliding is an activity within everyone's reach. You just need to be in good physical condition and able to make a short run. You can fly from the age of 6 and up and with a maximum weight of 110 kg.

This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting.
Paragliding is an activity that is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the scheduled date - by 20:00 - the pilot will confirm the time and course after checking the latest weather report.
You can, on request, request free photos and videos of the experience taken by the pilot, which will be shared via Whatsapp.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
