Fly in a two-seater paraglider over one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Stilo, in the province of Reggio Calabria, and admire from above the charm of a pearl hidden in the lush vegetation of the Calabrian Serre.
Let yourself be carried away by the ascending currents and sit back to enjoy the spectacle of nature, which will amaze you with the intense green of the woods and the blue of the Ionian Sea on the horizon.
In tandem with an experienced pilot, you will carry out the experience in total safety and peace of mind. All you have left to do is get ready for take-off!
What we will do
We will meet the pilot near Stilo, a small village perched on theCalabrian Apennines, in the province of Reggio Calabria.
Once we reach the take-off point several hundred metres above sea level, we will have a preparation briefing in which the pilot will explain the operating principles of the paraglider and provide us with all the instructions we need to fly safely.
For take-off, a short run-up will suffice, and in no time we will find ourselves suspended in the air, flying with the updrafts. A magnificent panorama will open up before our eyes, dominated by the dense vegetation of the Calabrian Serre, mountains characterised by a high forest presence.
Among the trees we will be able to glimpse the village of Stilo, with its small stone houses, the ruins of the Norman Castle and the peculiar little domes of the small Byzantine church of the Cattolica. And framing all this, the deep blue Ionian Sea on the horizon.
In total, the activity will last about one hour, including travel, preparation and flight lasting between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on wind conditions.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding does not require any specific skills or experience. It can be carried out by anyone in good physical condition and weighing between 30 and 130 kg, generally from the age of 10. Participants under the age of 18 must necessarily be accompanied on site by an adult who must sign a release form.
Pregnant women may not fly. For disabled persons, conditions must be assessed on a case-by-case basis (contact us privately for more information).

This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting.
Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the planned date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation on the feasibility of the flight, also informing you of the meeting address.
Even when the chosen time is confirmed, it may vary depending on weather and wind conditions. The pilot will contact you the day before to tell you the exact time to meet.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
