Full description
Enjoy the view of Castelmola, Taormina and the magnificent Isola bella by experiencing the thrill of free flight without a motor! With tandem paragliding you will discover the incredible sensation of flying above one of the most beautiful places in Italy, reaching an altitude of 800 metres.
You will enjoy aunique experience in complete safety, thanks to a highly specialised team of instructors and the best equipment on the market.
Looking for an adrenalin rush? The bravest will be able to take command of the paraglider for a short time... the sensation will leave you breathless!
What we will do
The meeting point is at the flight centre in Letojanni, in the province of Messina. A shuttle service will take us to the launch site, about 30 minutes from the flight centre (included in the participation fee).
After a briefing, we will be given a harness and helmet and help the pilot prepare the vehicle for take-off. Now everything is ready, let's fly! The take-off is performed from a gentle descent in a hilly section. No free fall, just a few running-up steps together with the pilot and, before we know it, we will be suspended in the air.
During the flight, which lasts about 20 minutes, we will fly over Cape Taormina and take advantage of the thermal currents, present especially after midday, to ascend and enjoy the spectacular view from a unique vantage point.
The more courageous will also be able to ask the pilot to try a few aerobatics to complete the experience with the right adrenaline rush!
The experience lasts about 1.5 hours and ends with the landing, just a few steps away from the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone. The only requirements are age, as you need to be present or have parental permission for those under 18, and the weight of the participants, which must be between 25 kg and 100 kg.
No specific knowledge or special skills are needed, just a little run-up and before you know it you'll be flying!

Please note: it is necessary to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the activity.
Paragliding is an activity that is closely linked toweather and wind conditions. The day before the planned date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation on the feasibility of the flight, thetime and thelocation.
Important: minors must present written and signed parental consent in order to proceed with the activity. If consent is not provided, the guide will not allow participants to carry out the activity and the activity will not be reimbursed.
Up to 4 people can fly at the same time.
At the end of the experience, you can ask the pilot for free videos or souvenir photos of the experience (via SD card that will be provided to you on site).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
