Enjoy a fantastic panorama over the Aspromonte National Park in Calabria, Italy, while flying a tandem paraglider with a professional pilot.
Admire the lush nature from a unique perspective and let yourself go with the flow of the updrafts to feel as free and light as a bird of prey soaring through the skies.
From take-off to landing, it will be a rollercoaster of emotions and adrenalin rushes. Are you ready?
What we will do
The rendezvous for the activity is in Molochio, in the province of Reggio Calabria, or - in special weather conditions - in Cittanova, also in the heart ofAspromonte.
To reach the take-off site, the pilot will pick us up in an off-road vehicle and we will ascend along the impervious paths up to the flight platform. Once at the site, we will have a briefing on how the paraglider works and the rules of behaviour and safety.
Then, well harnessed and secured to the pilot, we will take off thanks to a short run-up. The moment we take off our feet from the ground will be extremely exciting, as will the entire scenic descent from the slopes ofAspromonte, against a backdrop of unspoilt wilderness.
Depending on the updrafts of the day, we will be able to fly for up to 30 minutes. Given the particular morphology of the terrain, this flight requires particularly demanding technical manoeuvres, but all we have to do is rely on the pilot's skills and enjoy theadrenaline rush.
In total, including transfers and preparation, the activity will last about 1 hour, ending near the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
Tandem paragliding does not require any specific skills or experience. It can be carried out by anyone in good physical condition and weighing between 30 and 130 kg, generally from the age of 10. Participants under the age of 18 must necessarily be accompanied on site by an adult who must sign a release form.
Pregnant women may not fly. For disabled persons, conditions must be assessed on a case-by-case basis (contact us privately for more information).

This activity can be carried out all year round, weather permitting.
Paragliding is an activity closely linked to weather and wind conditions. The day before the planned date, after carefully evaluating the forecast, the pilot will send you a confirmation on the feasibility of the flight, also informing you of the meeting address.
Even when the chosen time is confirmed, it may vary depending on weather and wind conditions. The pilot will contact you the day before to tell you the exact time to meet.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
