See all the main attractions of eastern Sicily in just 2½ hours.
How? By taking part in our panoramic flight in a private plane: together with a pilot, you will fly from the province of Catania to theisland of Capo Passero. You will enjoy a unique view of themeeting of the two seas, the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea; and yes, you will be able to take photos in the air!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Calatabiano (CT). To welcome you there will be me, your pilot!
When you arrive, I will introduce you to the star of the day: a general aviation aircraft with three passenger seats. It is a comfortable aircraft, equipped with heating. In short, a'Mercedes with wings'! A briefing will then take place during which I will explain to you how to behave in the air, e.g. what you should do in the event that we come into radio contact with aeronautical stations.
Ready for take-off, we will fly over the coast until we spot attractions such as the Faraglioni of Acitrezza, the Laghetti of Avola and the Vendicari Reserve. We will continue until we reach theIsland of Capo Passero, where we will witness the unique spectacle of themeeting of two seas: the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea. On the return journey we will instead fly over Syracuse and theIsland of Ortigia.
We will finally return to the meeting point, where we will hold a debriefing on the activity. The flight will last about 2½ hours; the experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children aged between 0 and 2 years participate free of charge in the arms of an adult but must report their presence on board by contacting the pilot at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 must have signed authorisation from an adult.
The aircraft is accessible to people with motor disabilities: contact the pilot at the references indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail to report their presence and request boarding support.
Other information
Caution! Flying by air is an activity that is strictly dependent on weather conditions. The pilot will contact you 48 or 24 hours before the time of the experience to communicate feasibility and possible flight time after checking the weather report.
The experience is available from January to December.
An alternative meeting point is available at Catania Airport; please contact the pilot at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate your preferred meeting point and any availability.
Dogs in carriers can take part in the experience; small dogs being held by their owner participate free of charge while medium-large dogs occupying a seat on board pay the cost of one person participating.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
